An opera house is a theatre building used for opera performances that consist of a stage, an orchestra pit, audience seating, and backstage facilities for costumes and set building. A remarkable building, designed by the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava, dedicated to promoting the performing arts. The maximum capacity of the Theatre is rather low; nevertheless it is a very comfortable theatre. From an architectural point of view; the Palau de les Arts Reina SofĂa is equally inspiring. Remarkable in size and silhouette, coupled with state-of-the-art equipment and an exciting program, it is certain to swiftly find a place for itself among the mythical opera houses of the world. Opera houses like those in London, Vienna, Sydney, and Milan. The Opera house is measuring more than 70 metres in height, and is divided into four separate halls; all are well equipped with latest technological advances conceived to stage all kinds of opera, musical and theatrical performances. However; the main Hall is at the heart of the building, both formally and structurally speaking. If the architecture of the new opera house in Valencia is outstanding, the quality of its programming is no less impressive.

Big Goat Lake Alsaka United States

Misty Fjords Nat'l Park Big Goat lake Falls from the air. It’s named for the lake immediately sourcing the falls, Big Goat Lake Falls is a prominent but rarely visited cascade found in a relatively isolated part of southeastern Alaska between Ketchikan and the Canadian Border. Goat Lake is an alpine lake in Custer County, Idaho, United States, located in the White Cloud Mountains in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. No trails lead to the lake, but it is most easily accessed from Sawtooth National Forest trail 080.
It is only seen by plane or helicopter, the falls flume about 800 feet out of a glacially sculpted lake basin and into the long, sinuous valleys of the Misty Fjords. Alaska certainly has hundreds of exciting waterfalls, so what makes this one so unusual? Frankly, it’s not the waterfall. The landscape surrounding the falls is almost too perfect to be real, the water streaming directly out of Big Goat Lake and cascading down the valley, snowcapped peaks lining the mountains and virgin, undamaged forest all around. Nevertheless this is a list of the best waterfalls, and was this not nearly as impressive a waterfall it wouldn't be entered here. Images Source: WTA

Hotel in a Real Train

An old abandoned train, parked on Santos beach in the harbor town of Mossel Bay in the Southern Cape of South Africa has been transformed into a good-looking little hotel. It is called “The Santos Express Train Lodge” or simply “Train”, the lodge sits on a pair of abandoned rails approximately 30 meters from the sea. There’re 7 coaches, of which four are same with sleeper compartments, sharing two toilets and a shower. The fifth coach is transformed into a 16 bed dormitory with a self-catering kitchen. The last two coaches are the “Royal Ladies”, are two vintage coaches dating from the early 1920`s, each containing two very roomy suites. In addition, there is a restaurant that serves a good range of traditional South African dishes, like “bobotie” a dish of spicy ground meat with savory custard topping. Santos Express Train Lodge is not a luxurious stay, because every sleeper coach is separated into single, double and budget accommodation units and lodgers share toilets with others boarders, but the toilets and shower are clean. The rooms are miniature except for the Caboose, which has its own bathroom and a private deck. There’re also no lockers on the compartments, so if you have any valuables items, you could deposit them at the front desk for safe storage.
