Jackson Hole Wyoming

Well, Jackson Hole valley remained isolated from the burgeoning travel industry. Instead, it has survived on local industries like logging, ranching and, during the 19th century, fur trading. But in recent times, Jackson Hole boasts the rise of tourism. Former blue-collar settlements like Jackson and Grand Teton now wonderful notable art and performance venues. In winter the mega ski resorts have transformed the region into an up-and-coming winter wonderland. However, many people planning an opulent getaway, and don't give western Wyoming a little thought even and say: Think again. Jackson Hole is also called Jackson's Hole by the mountain men. In 1893 the valley is named by Margaret Simpson. 

Sure, you won't encounter the glitz and glam of Aspen or Lake Tahoe, but the natural beauty and vastness of the Jackson Hole region have caught the attention of Hollywood celebs like Harrison Ford and politicos like former Vice President Dick Cheney. The fresh and luxurious Jackson Hole remains first and foremost the heart of mountain country, with rugged trails and miles of open space that recall a time before the West was won.

Jackson Hole is a breathtaking valley between the Teton Mountain Range and the Gros Ventre Range in Wyoming sitting near the border of Idaho. Jackson hoe is a 55 mile long and 10 to 21 km wide graben valley. The average elevation is around 7,000 ft, with the lowest point is 6,350 feet. The term "hole" was used by early trappers or mountain men, as a term for a large mountain valley. The climate condition is very calm and cool in winter. The many parts are Jackson hole is covered with snow creates cold air and record low temperature is -56F in the valley in 1993. Kalandula Falls Angola

Kalandula Falls (previously famous as Duque de Bragança Falls) are beautiful waterfalls in the municipality of Kalandula, Malanje Province, Angola. Kalandula Falls is located on the Lucala River, the falls are 105 meters (344 feet) high and 400 meters (1,300 feet) wide. They are one of the largest waterfalls by volume in Africa. 
The distance from Luanda is 360 km. The amount of water thundering over the falls is extremely impressive. There are a ton of Angolan tourists getting around, all extremely happy to be out exploring their own country. Not far from the black rocks are the mighty Kalandula Falls. 
Angola is one of the three countries in the world with the highest biodiversity. This is reflected especially in this region. Exotic plant life paired with rare animal species makes Malanje a breathtaking experience. Dive into the tropical forests of Angola and experience Africa in a very authentic way. If you are willing and the weather permits it, we will wake up early to see the sunrise at the Calandula Falls.

The Gorgeous Mesa Falls in Idaho

Mesa Falls is a gorgeous 115-foot cascade billow over the leftovers of an ancient volcanic eruption in Caribou-Targhee National Forest Ashton, Idaho. The scenic byway lower Falls can be seen from a drive-up parking area with a lookout point. But the real beauty is little ahead at the Upper Falls. That is accessible by a short-paved path from the visitor’s center. The undisturbed Mesa Falls in Idaho is yet undiscovered by most area visitors, thus, making for a more relaxing viewing experience. The guard rail takes you down in 10 to 15 minutes to the river point.
In these days, Lower and Upper Mesa Falls are the last protuberant waterfalls on the Snake River to resist human interference. This is one of the major falls in Idaho which hasn’t used for any irrigation or hydroelectric projects. Over the weekend, peoples come here to spend a day with family and have fun. This place offers spectacular views in a lovely forest setting.  The upper waterfalls visitor center has been developed a paved path to easily accessible to all.

Mesa Falls in Idaho has formed with the combination of rhyolite tuff and basalt lava due to supervolcano eruption millions of years ago. Moreover, this tuff was mostly the result of superheated volcanic ash and molten granite fusing composed in the high temperatures of the eruption to form the hard erosion-resistant rock layer. Which gave rise to the drop in Henry’s Fork that today as the Upper Mesa Falls.
There are several spots where you can take selfies and nature photographs. The snake river flows through a large, steep-walled volcanic canyon, carries a considerable water volume. The river is directly fed by snowmelt from mountain streams creating great noise and spray. Mesa Falls have all facilities of the parking lot, info center to know about the history of falls and lodges, restaurants, drinking water, hiking, plenty of walking, and much more. There is a fur room back, which is treated to watch different animals’ furs. 
The people touch the furs and showing a lot of interest to know the characteristic of each animal.  What they eat, what they do in the wild etc. Moreover, another hit is a telescope to observe the wildlife, bird watching, Osprey, that is normally a busy spot. Also, you can watch a beautiful documentary on Youtube.

Pabbi National Forest Park - Punjab Pakistan

It's a beautiful spring day in the park. You just imagine yourself sitting on the wooden bench, the pleasant sunlight on your face, the smell of new coming leaves in your nose & the chirping sound of birds in your ears. What's one word that sums up how you feel when you spend a quiet moment in nature? Pabbi National Forest Park is a sedate and calm place on GT Road located in Sarai-Alamgir, Punjab, Pakistan.  It is an ideal and perfect place to take rest and enjoy nature.
The beautiful standing trees adding lush green beauty that will feel you a sense of calmness and relaxation. These days, life is so hectic and everyone looking for a place where they can spend some time reliving their motivations. If you are tired off of seeing the same places near Lahore or Islamabad, then you should kick-in to go to Pabbi National Park. The park design is similar to Rana Hunting Resort. However, it is a less rush area.  
This is a lovely place for a day out picnic spot. A beautiful wooden pedestrian bridge built alongside a small natural lake to accommodate visitors to reach another side of the lake. The small and slightly brackish natural lake offers extensive reed marshes and rich aquatic vegetation situated in the Pabbi National Forest Park. There are several Bar-B-Que grills that have been erected at different spots to do a grilling event for visitors. Moreover, a jogging track and walkway lead you to the hilltop to view the sunset. In the spring season, overgrown vegetations spreading all over the park.
The wooden benches and huts have been installed for the sitting arrangement of families. The park authorities have assigned guards for security to protect the families. This gorgeous natural park would be a perfect recreational opportunity for the residents of Sara-i-Alamgir and Kharaian.

Qila Rohtas Jehlum, Pakistan

Rohtas Fort is a 16th-century fortress located in Jehlum city in the province of Punjab during the regime of Sher Shah Suri. The nearby Gakhar tribes were strong allies of the Mughal Emperor, so they reject the suzerainty of Sher Shah Suri (The Founder of Suri Dynasty). Rohtas Fort is one of the largest and formidable fortified complexes that has survived for many centuries.
The fort had a profound influence and it has many monumental gateways and big defensive four kilometers walls in circumference. After Sher Shah Suri's death in 1545, his regime fell apart. In 1997, Rohtas Fort has declared a UNESCO world heritage site. The fort is not far away from GT Road, only 8 kilometers. One can easily go there as the road is in perfect condition.
The main purpose of Qila Rohtas to overlooking a gorge, where Kahan River meets seasonal stream within the Tilla Jogian Range. The fort covers an area of 12.63 acres, 2,660 feet above sea level and 300 meters above its surrounding. Although, Qila Rohtas was not a popular place among Mughal Emperors. Because Emperor Akbar and Jahangir stayed a single night during their expedition to Kashmir. The Durrani ruler, Ahmad Shah Durrani used Qila Rohtas during his expedition and invasion to the Sikhs regime. Timur Shah Durrani took the Rohtas Fort from Sikhs in 1780.   

Who Built Rohtas Fort?

As mentioned above, Rohtas Fort was built by Sher Shah Suri, in order to stop the Mughal Emperor Hamayun, exiled to Persia after a heavy defeat in the Battle of Kannaju. Sher Shah Suri knows the importance of the strategic location of Fort, to stop Mughal Emperor and Gakhar tribes. Later, the Fort was served as the capital of the Gakhar Tribes. Rohtas Fort walls have small Machicolations used by soldiers to observe on the inside to pour molten lead and hot liquids on soldiers trying to scale the walls.

When Was Rohtas Fort Built?

In 1541, Sher Shah Suri order to construct a solid defensive fort after the victory over Hamayun. Therefore, the Qila Rohtas was ceded to Hamayun in 1555. Until 1707 the Fort was used during the Mughal era. However, Afghan emperor Nadir Shah and Ahmed Shah Abdali also utilized during the waning days of Mughal Emperor. In 1825, Gurmukh Singh conquered the Rohtas Fort from Nur Khan until British rulers collapsed the Fort.

Qila Rohtas Layout?

The fort wall varies, from ten to eighteen meters with its 10 to 13-meter thickness. The walls were constructed with ashlar stone. It has 12 gates and 68 u-shaped bastions with the best masonry work on it. Some of its famous gates are Sohail Bukhari, Shah Chandwali, Kabuli, Shishi, Langar Khani, Talaqi, Mori or Kashmiri, Khwas Khani, Gatali, Tulla Mori, Pippli, and Sar.
Moreover, the remains of Shahi Masjid are still is near the Kabuli gate. Moreover, the Rani Mahal also exists near the one storey Haveli Man Singh. The fort depicts of Masculine architecture, had no permanent building for living. Rohtas Fort is a beautiful combination of Middle Eastern, Turkish, and South Asian artistic traditions.

Calligraphy and Artwork

The stones beautifully carved on the Masjid and gate engraving in the Arabic language. One stone is magnificently carved with the word “Allah”. In the Shahi Masjid, the First Kalima is beautifully written on both sides of every arch. The Shishi gate inscribed the date of commencing in the Persian language.
Also, there are inscriptions found on Talaqi Gate, Gatali Gate, Langar Khani, and Khwas Khani gate. Moreover, plaster has been applied to Shahi Masjid. Rohtas Fort magnificent decorative elements, its high and low-relief carvings, calligraphic inscription in marble and sandstone, plaster ornaments, and glaze tiles showing the early Muslim military architecture.
Rohtas Qila still stands after several centuries to bear the seepage, torrential rains, overlooked by local government, caused some damage to few gates. However, rainwater has badly damaged its bastion and supporting walls and erosion of its foundation. Moreover, many legends believe the Rohtas Fort showing true high-level integrity and legitimacy.
Outside Langer Khani gate, a lady named Khair-un-Nisa died here, (daughter of Food Minister Qadir Bukhsh) and she was buried here, but after some time she moved to Sasaram a city in the Bahar State of India.  There is a Gurudwara Chowa located outside the Talaqi Gate.

Distance from Lahore and Islamabad?

From Islamabad, almost 110 kilometers travel on GT Road to a small city of Dina. Moreover, from Lahore Rohtas Fort is 217 kilometers, and it took 4 hours and 15 drive on GT road. When you reached Dina, keep looking at the display board of Fort, giving directions of 8km, which leads to Qila Rohtas.
This road is an excellent condition, so you won’t have any problems. Rohtas Fort is now a popular tourist place, which should be developed a little more for the visitors. Some tuck shops are available there to have snacks, water, and cold drinks. Moreover, you can explore Mangla Dam and Pabbi National Park on a day trip along with Rohtas Qila.
